Erline'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. (Gold Medal) self-rising flour (unsifted)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    3/4 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. Wesson oil
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar in a large Tupperware bowl that can be tightly covered.
    In another bowl or measuring cup, mix 1/2 cup warm water and yeast.
    Let yeast dissolve.
    In another bowl, measure 2 cups buttermilk and soda; let dissolve.
    Pour yeast-water mixture in Wesson oil; stir until well mixed.
    Add to flour mixture.
    May use immediately by kneading and rolling on floured board.
    Cut and bake as regular biscuits, or cover tightly and keep refrigerated.
    This dough will rise.
