Pauline'S Easy Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. sliced hamburger dill pickles
1 (2 oz.) bottle Tabasco sauce
5 lb. sugar
Preparation

Drain juice from all 4 jars of sliced dill pickles.
Keep 3 cups of pickle juice.
Add Tabasco sauce to juice; set aside. Layer in a glass pan the pickle slices and sugar until all is layered.
Pour pickle juice mixture over layered pickle slices and sugar.
Let set for 10 hours after sugar is dissolved.
Remove pickle slices to a gallon jar; cover with lid.
Let stand for 1 week to seal in jars.
Don't heat pickles.
Only heat jars and lids to seal. When unsealed, keep in refrigerator.
