Jello Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pears, drained and cubed
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 1/2 c. liquid (1 c. water and 1 1/2 c. pear juice)
    1 c. nuts
    1/3 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Cream cheese and jello together thoroughly.
    Add hot liquid and cool to room temperature.
    Add pears, nuts and cherries. Chill until syrupy, then add Cool Whip.
    Chill in refrigerator. Makes a large salad.
