Knoedel(German Bread Dumplings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 doz. day-old hard rolls (like Kaiser rolls)
3 to 4 eggs
milk, warmed
gravy
Preparation

Cut off crusts from bottoms and tops of rolls.
Dice rolls with a knife.
Put pieces of rolls in a kettle with eggs and warm milk.
Mix so that roll pieces are moist and stick together. (Mixture shouldn't be soupy, though.)
Let sit in refrigerator overnight.
