Herbal Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    juice of 2 lemons
    4 Tbsp. freshly snipped chives
    1 Tbsp. white pepper
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. sweet basil (more, if fresh)
    2 tsp. marjoram (more, if fresh)
    2 lb. cream cheese
Preparation
    Simmer all ingredients, except cream cheese, in a saucepan for 15 minutes.
    Place in a processor with cream cheese.
    Mix well. Chill several days to ripen.
    Serve with crackers, celery sticks or other vegetables.
