Paradise Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell, cooled
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 small carton Cool Whip
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a large bowl, blend cream cheese by hand.
    With a spoon, blend with remaining ingredients until well mixed.
    Spoon into pie crust.
    Chill in refrigerator at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
