Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Grease 2 layer pans.
Line bottom with wax paper.
Sift together ingredients into large bowl.
Stir in water and vanilla until smooth.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool, then remove from pans. Frost as desired.
