Mickie'S Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless pork, cut into small pieces
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. cooking sherry or pineapple juice
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    2 c. vegetable oil
    2 large onions (each cut into 6 wedges)
    3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    4 green peppers, cut in strips
    1 carrot, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. diced water chestnuts
    3/4 c. pineapple chunks
    1/2 c. (scant) sugar
    1/3 c. catsup
Preparation
    Put in a bowl, 4 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sherry or pineapple juice and 4 tablespoons soy sauce.
    Toss pork in this mixture.
