Dutch Bean Stew(Germany) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. string beans
    4 potatoes
    1 Tbsp. tarragon vinegar
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. flour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Bring to boil 2 cups salted water.
    Prepare the string beans, cut in half inch lengths.
    Boil them, uncovered, in the water, adding the butter.
    Peel and dice the potatoes, and add them to the beans after the beans have boiled 15 minutes.
    Boil for 15 more minutes; then sift in the flour, sprinkle with pepper and add the vinegar.
