Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Jell-O gelatin (any red flavor)
2 c. cold water
1 pint (2 c.) vanilla ice cream, softened
thawed Cool Whip
sliced banana
sliced strawberries
pineapple chunks
chopped walnuts
Preparation

Stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.
Stir in cold water.
Stir in ice cream until smooth.
Pour into glass serving bowl.
Add fruit once chilled and set.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
Garnish with Cool Whip and nuts.
Makes 8 servings.
