Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, partially baked
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    2/3 c. packed brown sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1 1/4 c. broken pecans
    1 Tbsp. rum
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Bake the empty pie shell 8 minutes. Allow it to cool.
    Reduce oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.
    Beat in the eggs, one at a time until smooth.
    Stir in corn syrup, pecans, rum and salt; blend thoroughly.
    Pour mixture in pie shell.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
