Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine everything but the vanilla.
Stir with a wooden spoon, scraping the sides and bottom of the pan, breaking up lumps. When mixture is smooth and beginning to thicken, bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Cool or chill for 1 hour.
