Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. white Karo
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shelled raw peanuts
Preparation
    Stir ingredients together and cook over medium-heat until peanuts start popping and liquid looks the color of light honey. Do not overcook.
    Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon soda and pour on buttered surface.
    To prepare butter surface, butter aluminum foil heavily and place on cookie sheet.
    When candy is cold, break into pieces.
