George'S Green Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can green peas
    3 boiled eggs, chopped
    1/2 c. finely chopped onions
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. diced tomatoes
    grated cheese
    4 large lettuce leaves
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine ingredients into a medium bowl, but not the cheese; leave in refrigerator for 1 hour and remove when ready to serve. Place lettuce leaves on a platter. Spoon salad onto the leaves and sprinkle grated cheese on top. (For added touch, add ham, cut into small cubes, to the mixed ingredients.)
