Garlic Roasted Chicken And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. margarine (1/2 stick)
    mixed chicken pieces (1 1/2 to 2 fryers, cut up)
    6 medium potatoes, cut in bite-size pieces
    24 garlic cloves (unpeeled)
    salt
    1/4 c. maple or maple flavored syrup
Preparation
    About 1 1/4 hours before serving:
    In large roasting pan in 400\u00b0 oven, melt butter or margarine.
    Remove pan from oven.
    Wash and pat dry chicken.
    Place chicken, potatoes and garlic in pan. Sprinkle with salt.
    Turn chicken to coat both sides.
    Bake 40 minutes, basting occasionally with drippings.
