Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 large can fruit cocktail, undrained
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Put eggs in bowl, beat until light.
    Add flour, sugar, salt and soda, all sifted together.
    Add fruit cocktail, spread 1/4 cup brown sugar and a few crushed pecans on top of batter.
    Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Do not grease pan.
