Skillet Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 onion, chopped (1/2 to 3/4 c.)
1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes, chunked
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
3/4 c. elbow macaroni
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or to taste
Preparation

Brown crumbled meat; drain grease.
Add onion, tomatoes with liquid, mushrooms with liquid and macaroni.
Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 20 to 30 minutes, stirring often, until macaroni is done and most of liquid is absorbed.
If needed, water may be added to keep mixture moist.
Stir in chili powder, garlic powder and sprinkle with cheese.
Cover only long enough to melt cheese.
Serve in skillet.
Crusty bread and green salad complete this quick meal.
