Granny Ruth'S Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. leftover mashed potatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. flour
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together; drop by spoonfuls onto a heated skillet, using cooking oil.
    Brown bottom side; flip over with spatula.
    Cakes are ready when both sides are brown.
