Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    3 oz. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix German cake mix as directed.
    Pour 1/2 batter into a greased 9 x 13 x 2 1/2-inch cake pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let cool.
