Italian Meatball Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. fennel seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    Meatballs
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, parsley, garlic, oregano, fennel seed and salt in deep saucepan.
    Rinse tomato paste cans with water; add to sauce.
    Add meatballs.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours or until thickened to desired consistency.
    Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti with green salad and garlic bread.
    Yield:
    8 servings.
