Crescent Caramel Swirl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, melt butter.
    Coat bottom and sides of 12 cup fluted pan with 3 tablespoons of nuts.
    Add remaining nuts, brown sugar and water to butter.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    Remove dough from cans in rolled sections; do not unroll.
    Cut each section into 4 slices.
    Arrange 8 slices in prepared pan, separating each pinwheel slightly to allow sauce to penetrate.
    Spoon half of brown sugar mixture over dough.
    Repeat with remaining dough and brown sugar mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool 3 minutes; invert onto serving platter.
    Makes 12 servings.
