Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
5 egg yolks, save whites
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream together margarine, sugar, Crisco and egg yolks.
Add flour, soda, buttermilk, vanilla and chopped walnuts.
Whip egg whites and fold into mixture.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until just done with toothpick test, 40 or 45 minutes.
Frost with Cream Cheese Icing.
