Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. onion (optional)
    cornflakes or cheese crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Cook broccoli and drain.
    Combine all other ingredients.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add broccoli and stir well.
    Pour into buttered baking dish.
    Top with crushed cornflakes or cheese crackers.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
