Cracker Jack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. lite brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    6 qt. popped corn
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Melt butter; stir in sugar, Karo and salt.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popped corn.
    Put in big roasting pan.
    Mix well.
    Put in a 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes and cool, then pack in airtight container.
