Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 medium apple, finely chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and egg in 1 1/2-quart bowl on medium speed until smooth. Stir in apple and nuts.
Pour into ungreased pie plate, 9 x 1 1/4-inches.
Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Cut into wedges and serve warm.
