Pecan Millionaires - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. half and half
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 1/4 c. white sugar
    1 1/4 c. dark Karo
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Mix whipping cream and half and half and set aside.
    Bring other ingredients plus one cup of the cream mixture to a rolling boil and add very slowly so mixture does not stop boiling the rest of the cream mixture.
    Boil to soft ball stage (242\u00b0).
    Remove from heat and add 2 cups chopped pecans and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
    Pour into buttered cookie sheet.
    Let cool and cut into small squares. Melt in top of double boiler 12 ounces milk chocolate chips and 1/4 pound paraffin.
    Dip into chocolate mixture and place on wax paper.
    Let set until firm.
    Makes approximately 80 to 100 pieces.
