Mom'S Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cut rhubarb
    2 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1/4 c. sugar for meringue
Preparation
    Pour slightly beaten egg yolks over rhubarb.
    Add 1 1/2 cups sugar, tapioca and orange rind.
    Mix well.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for another 30 minutes.
    Make meringue of egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar.
    Spread on pie and return to oven to brown.
