Dump Cake Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (2 layer) pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. pecan halves
8 oz. whipped topping
Preparation

Combine pineapple and pie filling in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; mix well.
Sprinkle cake mix over fruit mixture.
Dot with margarine.
Top with pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Spread whipped topping over cooled cake.
Chill, tightly covered, until serving time.
Yield:
8 servings.
