Stuffed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 unpeeled tomatoes
    1/2 c. crumbled crisp bacon bits
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cut a slice from top of each tomato.
    Scoop out centers; mix pulp with bacon bits, celery, onion, bread crumbs, salt and 1/2 of grated cheese.
    Fill centers with this mixture; sprinkle with the rest of the grated cheese.
    Dot with butter; bake in greased muffin cups or baking dish for about 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. Serves 6.
