Linda'S Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans coarsely chopped tomatoes, drained
    1 can black-eyed peas, drained
    1/2 c. chopped fresh cilantro or coriander
    1 c. chopped red onion
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    This is a mild sauce.
    Heat it up with hot pepper sauce to taste.
    Mix all ingredients and serve with tortilla chips.
    It is also a wonderful substitute for taco sauce, minus the black-eyed peas.
    Yields 4 cups.
