Mock Sour Cream - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. skim milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. 1% fat cottage cheese
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a blender and mix on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy.
Use as a sour cream substitute. This sauce may be added to hot dishes by adding 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to 1 cup of sauce.
Or serve it cold with the addition of herbs or flavoring as a dressing for salad or a sauce for mousse.
Yield:
about 1 1/4 cups.
