Meat Balls With A College Education - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 1/2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. chicken stock or canned chicken soup
1 Tbsp. oil
4 slices cubed pineapple
3 green peppers, sliced
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Mix meat, egg, salt, pepper and onion.
Form balls.
Roll in flour.
Fry until light brown.
Add 1/3 cup chicken stock, oil, pineapple and green pepper.
Simmer over low heat until peppers are tender.
Make a sauce of remaining ingredients.
Mix well. Add meat balls.
Heat thoroughly.
Yields 6 servings.
