Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    2 large onions, diced
    39 oz. can kidney beans
    2 (29 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    salt and pepper
    sugar
Preparation
    Brown meat and diced onions in skillet; pour off grease. Place in 5-quart pan.
    Add kidney beans, then rinse out can and add to meat.
    Add tomato sauce, then rinse cans and add to meat until ingredients rise to top of pan.
    Add salt, pepper and sugar; bring to boil.
    Lower heat and simmer.
    Stir frequently.
    Simmer approximately 3 to 4 hours.
