Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. or 1 pkg. raw cranberries
    2 c. cold water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. gelatin (unflavored)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
    1 1/2 c. diced celery
Preparation
    Cook cranberries, in 2 cups cold water, until tender.
    Add sugar and cook 5 minutes. While the cranberries are cooking, soften the gelatin in 1 cup of cold water; add to hot cranberry mixture along with scant 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    After it has chilled, add 1 cup chopped nuts and the celery.
    Chill until firm and cut into squares.
