Whole Wheat Honey Bread - cooking recipe

3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 c. honey
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Measure all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour into a bowl; stir to mix.
Set aside.
Combine warm water, shortening, dry milk, yeast, honey, salt and 3 cups of flour mixture in largest mixer bowl.
Mix well on low speed, scraping sides and bottom of bowl often.
Beat for 3 minutes at medium speed.
Gradually stir in remaining flour by hand to make a very stiff dough.
Cover and let rest 15 minutes.
