Strawberry Shortcut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    2 c. sliced strawberries, frozen in syrup and thawed
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle the marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan and set aside.
    Thoroughly combine the strawberries and syrup with the gelatin and set aside.
