Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    3 1/4 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    9 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients; knead 10 minutes. Let rise until double in bulk. Cut small pieces. Stretch until round and flatten. Make hole in center and let rise again, 10 minutes or more. Deep fry. Makes 25 pieces.
