Hearty Potato Ham Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. onions
    2 1/3 c. water, divided
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    2 c. diced, cooked ham
Preparation
    Peel and dice potatoes.
    Melt butter in saucepan; add pepper and onion.
    Saute until tender.
    Add potatoes and 2 cups water with seasonings.
    Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Make paste of flour and 1/3 cup water; add to potatoes.
    Add milk and cook until slightly thickened.
    Stir in undrained corn and ham.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Makes 6 servings.
