Best Ever Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening or butter
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar and salt together; mix well.
    Cut shortening until its cut up fine in flour mixture.
    Add milk; stir until all mixed.
    Pour out on a floured table; knead dough 10 to 12 strokes, then roll out to 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut out biscuits; put in a greased pan.
    Pout oil, milk or butter on top of biscuits.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
