Hearty Beef And Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
5 carrots, cut in half lengthwise and crosswise
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom sauce
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Parboil potatoes and
carrots
in
salted water 20 minutes. Drain.
Combine
soup, milk and catsup.
Brown meat and onion. Drain.
In
2 1/2 quart casserole, alternate layers of vegetables, soup mixture
and
meat, ending with soup mixture. Saute mushrooms in butter
or margarine.
Place on top of soup mixture.
Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Yield:
six servings.
