Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar, divided
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
baked pie shell
2 c. milk
4 eggs
2 Tbsp. melted cooled margarine or butter
1/2 tsp. cream tartar for meringue
Preparation

Combine 1 1/4 cups sugar, flour and cocoa.
Combine milk, egg yolks, melted margarine or butter.
Beat with wire whisk. Gradually add milk mixture to sugar mixture.
Stir until smooth. Cook chocolate mixture over medium heat until thick and bubbly (10 minutes).
Make meringue with remaining sugar, egg whites and cream of tartar.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
