Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
    1 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Add sugar and butter in a large bowl.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Add flour and extract.
    Pour batter into well-greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. Mark the batter very lightly into squares.
    Put 1 tablespoon filling into each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
