Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 large or 2 small pkg jello, any red flavor
    2 c. cold water
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    Cool Whip
    sliced bananas and strawberries
    pineapple chunks
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Stir boiling water into jello in large bowl for 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.
    Stir in cold water.
    Stir in ice cream until smooth.
    Pour into serving bowl.
    Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm.
    Garnish with Cool Whip, fruit, and nuts. Makes 8 servings.
