Apple-Scotch Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce or apple butter
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar 2 minutes.
Add egg and applesauce. Beat well; add combined dry ingredients.
Stir in raisins and nuts, if desired.
Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
