Mim'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. raw peanuts (leave husk on)
    2 c. sugar
    16 oz. dark Karo syrup (2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix peanuts, sugar and syrup together in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Cook to hard crack (300\u00b0). Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.
    Stir real fast as this will rise quickly.
    Pour onto baking sheet to cool.
    Break into pieces when hard.
