Flaky Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    5 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Sift
    salt
    and flour into mixing bowl.
    Cut into flour 1/2 of\tshortening until cornmeal consistency.\tCut remainder of shortening\tuntil size of peas.
    Slightly beat egg and add cold water and vinegar.\tBlend together with fork until dough holds together.
    Roll out into pies.
    Makes 2.
