Okra-Bacon Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. small, young fresh okra
    3 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, seeded and chopped
    salt to taste
    hot pepper sauce to taste
    5 strips bacon
Preparation
    Slice okra into thin rounds.
    In a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole, arrange okra, tomatoes, onion and green pepper in layers.
    Season each layer with salt and pepper sauce to taste. Lay bacon over top.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
