Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter or Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time and beat. Sift flour, cocoa and soda together.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning with flour.
    Mix well, then add boiling water.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 30 minutes or test with a toothpick for doneness.
