Potato Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. warm water (can use water potatoes were cooked in)
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. melted shortening
1 c. lukewarm mashed potatoes
7 1/2 c. flour (approximately)
Preparation

Add 2 tablespoons sugar to potato water and stir.
Dissolve yeast in the potato water.
Blend together sugar, shortening, salt and eggs.
Add the yeast mixture and beat in potatoes.
Add the flour a half at a time.
Turn this sticky dough onto a floured cloth or counter.
Knead in enough flour to make dough elastic. Let rise until double in size.
Make into rolls.
Let rise in a warm place.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
