Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    3 sticks of butter
    3 cups sugar
    6 eggs
    3 cups plain flour
    2 tsp. vanilla OR lemon extract
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Allow cream cheese and butter to reach room temperature and mix together well.
    Add 3 cups sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour and salt.
    Beat mixture for 3 minutes.
    Add flavoring of choice and beat for 2 more minutes.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and place in a cool oven. Turn oven to 300 - 325 degrees and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
